The Guardians of the Galaxy are pretty well-known these days, having brightened our movie screens in their two films and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. But in Marvel Comics history, they go back to the 1960’s with an entirely different cast of characters. Instead of the modern line-up with Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax the Destroyer, among others, the Original Guardians of the Galaxy featured Charlie-27, Yondu, Vance Astro, Martinex and Starhawk.
